I am quite positive, that the X series, by CLAMP group is well known among our M&A lovers. I had the pleasure to read it up to volume 18, as this is as much as have appeared in Poland. I don’t believe the series is complete even in Japan. Nevertheless – Second Kamui often uses a phrase, with meaning similar to ‘there shall be only one future’. For some reason however I would like to use the exact words, that were used in official English translation. Could anyone help me with that?

Aww, how disappointing. I sincerelly hoped, they would use something more poetic for main catch-phrase of the series.

Is manga much different from anime?

I must admit I have not seen the anime but I believe, that the beginning of the series are more-or-less the same. However the anime is complete story, while manga is still not over (I wonder if they even intend to finish it, they managed to release Chobits and XXXHolic in meantime.. ). As far as I know it was not CLAMP that produced the anime series and the final episodes are based on assumptions of anime producers. The ‘real’ (that is intended by CLAMP) ending of the story is yet unknown.

I have also seen the animated movie (which is also based on assumption how will the story end) and it was more-or-less similar to manga, yet due to obvious reasons its much different – its only a story of Kamui and Fuma and the other chars are irrelevant. They appear fast, and die even faster. It is quite spectacular, but lacks very much in the plot.

They do intend to finish the manga, only there are some issues with political correctness - Clamp ladies insist on continuing with the earthshakes, as they are important to the plot, while after recent earthshakes it's quite a touchy point in Japan. Thus, the manga has been suspended for a while.
