..not so much.

Long story short, since 2.4, every time I enter or leave an area/bg.. my "display driver stops responding" plunging me into 640:480, 8 bit color resolution, and shuts down WoW.. this is an ATI problem I'm sure (I have an ATI Mobility Radeon 9200), and updating/reinstalling drivers did nothing... I assume that the rapid surge of graphics trying to load are overflowing and not being handled correctly anymore. Anyone else have this problem or any possible solutions? I'll keep checking WoW forums for possible solutions. Thank you.

N/m Blizz knows about it and there's an uber long topic on potential fixes, I'll try them out and see if any work, and if so, I'll let you guys know in case anyone else is having this problem (only with certain Radeon cards, especially in laptops).

I have experienced some problems with my Radeon and a low framerate, that I did not experience before (I have very strong hardware tbh).

A lot of them only work with desktop radeons, it seems to be the mobility radeons (for laptops) that are giving the most trouble, but there's some fixes for both in here. Seems to stem from ATI not releasing a new ATI driver in years for their radeons, and just reusing the old ones from older cards, combined with the new combat log.

Fast summary of the pages I read of things people said had worked:
Deleting and forcing WoW to recreate your WTF folder (not from prefetch)
Getting best (not necessarily newest) catalyst drivers
Changing the combat log settings
