Okay, I'm not really in a position to recommend a shadow priest build, as I've never had one, but I've talked to some, partied with one a lot, so I made one awhile back because I was considering making one myself. Plus Crow was asking about it, and I said I'd post one. =P

Here I really don't know what I'm doing, but I sometimes make builds when I'm bored, so any suggestions I would love to hear. =) I'm wanting shadow resilience in there too... but not sure what to take out.. I dunno, someone help. =P

It is sort of late, but thank you for your suggested build :D

Since Discipline tree offers some great PvP talents, I would like to put as little points into shadow tree as possible, to get Vampiric Touch. Some advanced players even suggest dropping VT to get as far as to Focused Power into discipline tree. While I find this a bit too extreame, I would still like to have only 41 or 43 points in shadow tree.

First of all I would drop Spirit Tap. While this is great leveling talent (it really hurt when I have dropped it) it is semi useless in PvP. Especially since PvP gear is mostly +sta/+int/+dmg and not +spi.

Shadow focus - the spell resistance is based on level difference between caster and target. At same level you only need lv 2 shadow focus. I choose to go three, to get out of T2.

Level 5 imp mind blast is tempting, but many players recommend to get less points in it. I am currently playing with lv1 and I think I will stick to lv2 - only enough to get out of T3.

You have skipped Shadow Power, which I intend to do as well. At high level, competitive PvP players are supposed to have a lot of Resiliance, and you won't be able to crit them reasonably anyway.

For now lets also assume we leave shadow resilience out, though this is likely a very good talent and I want it.

All in all PvP Shadowpriests do not have many options in developing their shadow talents.

T1 - 5 blackout - obvious
T2 - 2 improved SW:P, 3 Shadow Focus - I would rather go 2 SF, but not possible
T3 - 2 Imp Psy Scream, 2 Impr Mind Blast, Mind Fly - No better choices so far
T4 - 2 Shadow Reach, 3 Shadow weaving - could max impr Mind Blast instead, but I think Shadow Weaving is very good (+dps for you and your team Warlock - we have two reliable locks in guild - GvS and Korm)
T5 - This is where first variety can occur. Silence and VE are obvious choices. Three remaining points can be divided between impr VE, Shadow Weaving, Focused Mind and Impr Mind Blast. It is possible to skip impr VE, but I don't consider it in the remaining part of this post.
T6 - lv 5 Darkness - we go shadow to dps after all..
T7 - lv1 Shadowform, and 4 points do divide between choices from T5 plus Shadow Resilience. One could also choose Shadow Power, but as I said - this is not an endgame PvP skill.
T8 - lv 5 Misery
T9 - lv 1 Vampiric Touch.

This limits building my priest so far to distributing 5 points between Shadow Weaving (2 max), Focused Mind (3 max) and Shadow Resilience. I am almost sure I want to max Shadow Weaving, so the one open question I would like to ask more advanced players is whether to go 3 focused mind 0 Resilience, 1 Focused Mind 2 Resilience or 3 Focused Mind 2 Resilience (the last choice means 43 points in shadow rather than 41).

Obviously in order to answer that question, we have to look into other two trees, to decide if we want those 2 more points there. Holy tree offers some very nice healing talents, which could come in handy in 2v2 and maybe 3v3 PvP. I do hope however, that we are going to have a lot of massive PvP, so I would either respec to holly, or take no holly talents at all.

Starting discipline tree is easy: 5 points in Unbreakable will will help a lot. At level 55 I have more or less (depending on the question I asked above):
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=bxZZVMGdMtRhtVo

This is where it gets hard to decide. All discipline T2 talents are useful. Silent Resolve for dispell resistance, impr PW:F for +hp to whole party, impr PW:S for better survivability and Martyrdom for successful casting. I have yet to gain more PvP experience, but I have read a lot of opinions claiming Martyrdom to be simply great.

T3 is not an easy choice as well, especially you might still want to go back to T2 at this point. One note however is that Meditation is supposed not to be as useful in PvP as it might seem - bear in mind, that my spirit will be rather low. Possibly Absolution gives you better mana performance? I will most likely take 1 point in Inner Focus.

At T4 I definitely want Improved Mana Burn. Mana Burn already is good against certain classes, and if I could cast it faster, it would be great. That leaves 3 final points to distribute between remaining T2 and T3 talents, Mental Agility, Impr Inner Fire (both seem to be useful, but this has yet to be checked upon) and Shadow Resilience (or Focused Mind).

If any more experienced player could help me with comments, remarks and suggestions (especially about Disc talent points distribution) I would be most grateful.
